On Friday, March 26, Xico will celebrate the opening of “El Arte de Los Angeles,” an exhibition highlighting on the cultural perspective of Latino artists from the Los Angeles area. “El Arte de Los Angeles” showcases the art of several different California artists, including George Yepes, Abel Alejandre, Joe Bravo, Yolanda Gonzalez, Maria Kane, Pola Lopez, Heriberto F. Luna, Cici Segura, and Julie Zarate. Each artist brings a unique perspective and impressive skill to the historic downtown Chandler gallery space.
Xico will hold the opening reception on March 26, from 5:30-8:30 PM. The reception will be an opportunity for the community to meet the exhibited artists, and will include light refreshments and sangria.
“El Arte de Los Angeles” runs through May 1, 2010.
